Esoteric Astrology: Saturn and Capricorn – Class 8

In the past, the knowledge of astrology was only available for kings and queens, because those who possess this knowledge will rule, lead, and govern. It represents the knowledge of self, the law of the Universe, and the nature of God.

Divinity is inherent within our nature. The question is do you realize it? Do you accept it? Do you cultivate yourself? Saturn in your birth chart will make sure you reap what you sow.

Note: You should take my course in order. All images, knowledge, and wisdom in this course are free to share.

Saturn

  • Role: The Lord of Karma
  • Meaning: Your karmic retribution and reward, limitation, hardship, learning curve
  • Keywords: Self-discipline, karma, time, form, structure, solidity, materialism, physicality
  • Body parts: Legs, joints bones, muscles, teeth, hair, ears, knee

In astrology, Saturn represents the Grim Reaper because it represents the law of cause and effect. This law does not change because every human being has to be responsible for their actions – every person will be rewarded/retributed for things they are supposed to get.

As I said in previous classes, along with virtues, karma is what you take with you when you leave this world. These 2 qualities materially exist, which are as real as your inner strength, courage, and determination.

In the universe, there is an immutable law “No loss, no gain“. In order to gain something, you have to lose something. If you don’t want to lose, you will be forced to lose.

For example, if you want something for free, it will never be free, because every good thing in this world has the price of virtue. If you intend to succeed in this world, something will challenge your intention, and that is Saturn. If you want to develop a habit, Saturn will test your patience and willingness for self-improvement.

The law of “No loss, no gain” is closely associated with the law of virtues and karma because suffering is one way to transform karma into virtue (or blessing). Most people suffer, yet they don’t understand the wisdom behind their suffering. Most religions tell you to do good deeds, yet they don’t tell you why you should do so.

While Saturn often gets a bad rap, the energy of Saturn will make sure you get what you deserve. The main goal of Saturn is to draw the line of safety. It has the intelligent energy to slow you down when you’re moving too fast. It will make sure when you earn something, you’re supposed to have it. Hence, Saturn is often known as the “Lord of Karma.”

Saturn is considered a slow-moving planet, taking approximately 29.5 years to complete its orbit around the Sun. The first Saturn Return typically happens around the age of 29-30, marking a crucial turning point in your life.

During this period, you may experience significant changes or challenges in areas related to your career, family, childbirth, relationships, or personal identity. The house and sign where Saturn is situated in your chart can reveal the situations and events you might face.

Saturn also rules perseverance, limitation, hard work, duty, and responsibility. It does not represent luck or expansion like Jupiter. Gains under Saturn must be earned through focused determination, sustained initiative, self-discipline, and pushing oneself to persist even when difficulties mount.

It is about doing the work necessary to reap rewards later. We must pass its many tests and time-proven lessons. Otherwise, we will have to come back here again and learn the same lesson that we should have learned before.

Esoteric Teachings of Saturn

In ancient times, there were only 7 classical planets with Saturn sitting in the outer ring.

This indicates every true spiritual practitioner must pass the test of Saturn; otherwise, their spiritual practices are of no use. If you want to practice spiritually, you must develop the ability to endure hardships, for it is an immutable law in this universe that you must pay for your own wrongful actions. There is no way around it because you must be strong to succeed, or you will be destroyed by your own karma.

You might have seen many companies have “rings”, or you may watched the Lord of the Rings. They refer to Saturn because Saturn is the only planet that has rings.

Saturn is the most common planet used in rituals because Saturn is the planet of ritual. Everything that you want to manifest in this world needs Saturn; no other planet has that kind of power.

Saturn is what gives the visible form to the invisible substance. While Jupiter expands whatever it touches, Saturn limits, reduces, and lessens. There was originally no number, letter, or form; Saturn gives form to it by crystalizing it. 1 + 1 does not equal 2 in another dimension – we just codify/lessen our limitless existence and bring it down to human size to make it comprehensible for our human brain.

As you remember in Class 1, when God puts a deep sleep upon Adam (or Atom), He uses the power of Saturn to solidify things. All of what you see now in the physical world are manifestations of what has been consolidated by the energy of Saturn, not its original substance. We’ve created a fathomable, visible system in an attempt to understand the unfathomable, invisible world.

One is not the unit of measurement. The only legitimate measurement is time because only time can give proof of the existence of matter. Without time, we don’t exist.

Hence, the mythology of Saturn is of the Father Time who gives birth to his children but also devours his children. This doesn’t mean Saturn is evil; rather, it represents the concept of Time. Time is what gives us life, structure, and measurement but it is also what devours, kills, and moves us closer to our graves.

Capricorn

  • Date: December 22 – January 19
  • Gender: Feminine
  • Element: Earth
  • Quality: Cardinal
  • Symbol: The Goat – Mountain Goat and Seagoat
  • Keyword: I Use
  • Planetary ruler: Saturn
  • House: 10th house – house of career, reputation, public service, status, achievement
  • Positive personality traits: Ambitious, responsible, self-disciplined, patient, practical, determined, cautious, loyal, hard-working
  • Negative personality traits: Pessimistic, cold, workaholic, stubborn, rigid, materialistic
  • Organ: Skeleton system, bone, joint, and teeth

Born between December 22 – January 19, Capricorns are Saviors of the world. In the Bible, Jesus dies and rises in the sign of Capricorn. The sun (Jesus) lies dead on December 22nd in the Southern Cross for 3 days and then rises up again on December 25th. Christmas is an annual festival commemorating the rebirth of Jesus Christ because it represents the resurrection of the sun.

In ancient lore, Cancer is often termed the house of physical conception, while Capricorn, the opposite sign, is concerned with spiritual conception. It governs the bone of the human body, which represents the framework of the soul’s temple or the foundation stones of Solomon’s temple.

Capricorns are born to rule. These people are extremely ambitious and driven. They set lofty goals for themselves and work with determination and persistence to achieve them. Capricorns are in it for the long haul—they don’t look for quick wins or instant success.

They are willing to put in the time, effort, and sacrifice required to reach the top of their mountain. Status, prestige, and reputation often motivate them. Capricorns will steadily work their way up the career ladder, and indeed, hard work itself is the sweetest fruit of their labor.

At their core, Capricorns are driven by a deep sense of purpose and a desire to make a meaningful contribution to society. They are not content with simply going through the crowd or living a life of mediocrity, but instead strive to achieve their full potential and leave a lasting legacy on the world.

They are the Prophets and the Laws in the Bible, for they are born to do so.

In relationships, Capricorns are loyal, committed, and dependable partners who value stability and security above all else. They are not typically the type to engage in casual flings or short-term relationships but prefer to build strong, lasting connections. They set a good example for others as they understand there are spiritual consequences of having sex before marriage.

Capricorn is the sign of the Goat, which represents the scapegoat or the idea of sacrifice. Jesus dies to atone for the sins of humanity, so he is a Capricorn. It is also the same Goat designated to be cast into the desert to carry away the sins of the community in the Book of Leviticus.

Indeed, most prophets and enlightened beings coming to this world are Capricorns. Why? It’s because their purposes are to establish rules, morality, laws, and order. This is exactly what Moses did (the 10 Commandments), what Jesus did (the Sermon on the Mount), and what Capricorn is supposed to do.

The Concept of Sacrifice

As Capricorn represents the idea of sacrifice, you may wonder why when someone in Hollywood became famous, their loved ones often disappeared.

For example, Kayne West said he sacrificed his mother, and Rocky ASAP lost his sister and other loved ones every time he released new albums. Yes, ASAP’s father died a few months just before ASAP signed the $3 million record deal with Polo Grounds Music.

As I said above, there is a principle of “no loss, no gain”. When you want something in this world, you must exchange it with either your blessings/virtues or suffering. All your hard work will be converted into virtues – you will never lose them as long as you keep moving and doing good deeds.

What will happen if you don’t have enough virtues and get something that you do not deserve? You will increase your karma or karmic debts. And your karma will bring you terrible and tremendous karmic consequences. If you owe someone something, you must pay it back, for this is a permanent law of the universe.

One feature of karma is that if enough of it is amassed, it forms into a type of energy; yet this type of energy is nothing to speak of, and no match for the energy of true practitioners.

I said about this issue in my article “Subliminal Messages in Music Videos“, so what they are doing is increasing the density of their black matter, or karma, through wrongful things.

They can, in effect, strengthen and develop the lesser powers of the body by way of karma, but those powers don’t amount to much. They’re mistaken in thinking that they can develop true higher energy by doing wrongful things.

This will only bring extreme suffering and the destruction of their souls in the future. They can affect regular people, but they can’t affect true practitioners of authentic practices.
